Wishing you all a beautiful new moon in Aries, occurring this evening. Aries is full of passion and fire, able to step into action without second guessing or overthinking. And damnnnnn do some of us need that energy in our lives (me, for one). For those who are in touch with their fiery selves, today’s draw brings wisdom in balance for you as well. This morning we are given the queen of cups and the queen of swords, back to back. They may be facing away from one another, but I see these two working together, making sure to have a view of both sides. They have each other’s back. Artemis watches from above them, a reminder to be grounded in this wild earth and to bring fuel to their independent natures.
Patriarchal culture (in which tarot was created too) likes to draw a line between logic and emotion, the intuitive and the analytical. But as we are learning more and more, binaries aren’t about lines: they are circles and spectrums, cycles and waves. Our intuition obviously aids our analysis and logic can teach us quite a bit about our emotions. These aspects of ourselves interact and inform one another throughout our daily thoughts and expressions. They are not in separate boxes.
As our energy shifts with the seasons and the planets, let us utilize both our logic and our intuition. This combination grants us some fierce, feeling, intelligent, and wild energy. Let us channel it into our creativity. Allow it to guide our actions. May we revel in ourselves, one another, and the glory of being alive and able to act, able to create, able to analyze and think. Let us follow our intuition into action and allow our wit to inform us along the way. Let us be active in our connection to our bodies, our planet, and our compassion for each other and the fate of this world.
Let us be centered, have one another’s back, and continue to allow all four elements be present in our creative endeavors, in the actions we take, in the love that we make, and the connections we form.
Love and healing to all.
Blessed be.
